Jose Sousa

Jose Sousa a.k.a. Truemachine, Andalusian musical programmer known for his Chill out, downtempo and nufunk works. He consolidated in 2005 in the Andalusian scene, after living several years in Barcelona and returning to the south, working for several labels including Bunkerlab, Sambafrique-Records, NOPRESET Records, Disolend Records... highlighting his influence of electronic dance music with minimalist tendency details. Among his performances (DJ Sets and Live Acts) we must mention: Sala Siroco (Madrid), Sala Apolo (Barcelona), Reus Festival (Tarragona), Sala Metrópolis (Córdoba), Rocket Festival and Dragon Festival (Granada), Disco Palladium (Málaga) and several national clubs. On April 2008 he closed the Radio Club-7 Festival with his performance at the German city of Leipzig. He has shared line up with artists such as Alex Under, Donnacha Costello, D.A.R.Y.L., Aaron Liberator, Jerry Dammers... His live performance consists of a never-ending display of techno and electro based rhythm and sounds witn and up-to-date house music based groove, with the purest essence of minimal music. His performances range from that swinging deep minimal house to that dancefloor minimal techno.
